DEVON OPERA announces a new COMPANY DIRECTOR
On behalf of the Trustees, Chair Anne Foreman is delighted to share the news that Devon Opera has a new Company Director
ANNA GREGORY comes to us with a wealth of experience as a performer, director and producer. She supports the ethos of Devon Opera as a chamber company, committed to productions sung in the original language and performed by singers and musicians of international stature. In addition, Anna’s experience as a voice and movement coach, and with the Dorset Opera Schools Programme will be valuable in developing and expanding our own Outreach Programme to young people, aspiring singers and people new to opera.
A production of La bohème at the Exeter Northcott Barnfield Theatre on 15-16 May 2025 will be directed by Anna. She is already working on this project with Pavel and Natasha, our Music and Artistic Directors. Headlines from recent reviews auger well…

“ Opera is the hub of my work and I believe it to be the most powerful format in the theatre. Having worked for Devon Opera as a singer during Robert Hough’s tenure, I am honoured and excited to continue his vision. The standards upheld by the company are exceptional and I look forward to building on this to bring elite music to our beautiful county ” Anna Gregory
