Where we request personal data, we ensure that individuals only provide them on a freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous basis. We uphold individuals’ rights subsequently to access these data, and to have the right to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability (if applicable), and the right not to be subject to automated decision-making.

SAFEGUARDING

The Safeguarding of both adults and children is taken seriously by Devon Opera. We acknowledge both adults’ and children’s right to protection from abuse regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexuality or beliefs. We consider that, in accordance with legislation, the welfare of children is paramount. We will follow legislation, statutory guidance and recognised good practice.
